Watch Apple TV screen savers on Mac 👁️🍬

Sometimes the best thing to watch on Apple TV is the screen savers.

Many times, the family and I have sat transfixed in front of the beautiful and dramatic overhead shots of various cities and landscapes. They are exquisitely shot, and the detail on a big TV looks amazing.

Now you can enjoy them on your Mac, thanks to a free app. See our how-to for details.

I know what I'll be watching over the holidays (and it's not the Yule log)!

tvOS 15.2 adds a bunch of new screen savers to Apple TV, including three from Scotland’s picturesque Isle of Skye and Loch Moidart, and another six from Iceland. And you can enjoy them all on Mac.

Apple removes all references to its delayed (or possibly abandoned) plan to scan iCloud photo libraries for child sexual abuse material.

The rugged scenery will mesmerize you! The Apple TV update also brings a fresh user interface for Memories in the Photos app, support for the new Apple Music Voice Plan and other cool new features.

The feature allows up to 32 people to watch TV shows and movies together over FaceTime, and now it works with all Disney brands, including Marvel, National Geographic and Star Wars.

Looking for some sweet holiday gifts that won’t break the bank? The Cult of Mac Store has a massive collection of affordable stocking stuffers, sure to put a smile on the face of any Apple fan, for under $20 each. You’ll find cases, screen protectors, bands, stands and more from our most popular vendors.

I have two original iPhones in my possession. One sits in a junk drawer, untouched and unloved for many years. The other has been carefully disassembled and the parts arranged in a handsome black frame that hangs on my office wall.

I think it was a Kickstarter campaign that first drew my attention to the Yobybo X-Boat Pro noise-canceling earbuds, “the first open-casing true wireless stereo headphones with LDAC,” the company said, referring to Sony’s hi-res codec. Well, while the sleek “open” case is super-cool and the buds’ sound is vibrant, some earbuds just aren’t for everyone.

A new trailer should whet fans' appetites for the upcoming third season. And Apple TV+ is so pleased with Servant's horror (and dark humor) that it committed to a fourth.
