These look hot!

Get your best look yet at upcoming iPhone 17 series.

Back in the day, Sonny Dickson was king of the Apple leakers.

A few years ago, the young Australian leaked almost every detail of Apple’s upcoming iPhone lineup. Tim Cook must have hated him.

However, in recent years Dickson hasn’t been anywhere near as prolific. He’s still active on the socials, but doesn’t garner the headlines he used to.

But today he’s back in action, with a glorious photo of the entire iPhone 17 lineup! Well, dummy models, anyway, likely made from leaked CAD files.

The dummies align with all the rumors. They offer our best look yet at the upcoming iPhone 17 lineup, which reportedly will bring one of the biggest design changes ever to the iPhone’s exterior.

I gotta admit, they look glorious! Choosing which one to get is gonna be harder than ever this fall, unless, of course, you get one of each! Take a gander.

  • Hey Siri: Meet the new boss. Cupertino is shuffling execs in an attempt to rescue Siri. The AI assistant’s new boss previously led the Vision Pro team, which is actually a good sign, even though the headset isn’t selling like hotcakes. That’s because the headset’s software — visionOS — is a glorious triumph of almost-magical design.

  • Apple TV+ might boast the most popular show on streaming right now, but not even Severance can stop the platform from losing bucketloads of cash every year.

  • Zagg’s innovative new 6-Port Media Hub is no looker, but it does come with some nice big media buttons, making it easy to play music and more while you work.

  • I own one of Function101’s multibutton Apple TV remotes and prefer it to the fiddly Siri Remote, which always either has a dead battery or is lost in the couch cushions. Sound familiar? The button remote is on sale.

  • The Twentieth Anniversary Macintosh was one of Jony Ive’s first major design projects after getting hired by Apple back in the ’90s. The hardware was ahead of its time, but it was crazy-expensive and it bombed. And get this, if you bought one, it was delivered personally to your house by a tuxedo-wearing tech who’d set it up for you.

One more thing ...

The culture at NeXT definitely rewards independent thought, and we often have constructive disagreements — at all levels. It doesn't take a new person long to see that people feel fine about openly disagreeing with me. That doesn't mean I can't disagree with them, but it does mean that the best ideas win. Our attitude is that we want the best. Don't get hung up on who owns the idea. Pick the best one, and let's go.

— Steve Jobs, 1989.
