Update includes new Journaling app
Apple just released iOS 17.2, the second major update of the iPhone’s operating system.
And this one’s a goodie.
Along with the usual security updates and bug fixes, the release also includes enhancements to the Action button and Camera.
But the big new feature is the new Journal app, which helps you document your day-to-day activities, thoughts and feelings. Check it out.

Appel also released updates for Mac, iPad, iPhone and Apple Watch. A cool new feature for Apple watch: automatically view Now Playing when near a HomePod.
I’m a big fan of Setapp, MacPaw’s subscription app service. For a reasonable fee, you get access to a ton of helpful apps; and now you can give it as a gift.
This is a genius idea: a magnetic charger built right into an Apple Watch band — plus it includes its own charging cable.
And if you’re in the market for an Apple Watch Ultra, the new Ultra 2 just got a big discount on Amazon, it’s lowest price ever. Someone might be getting lucky for Xmas!
This looks like a nice, productive setup, which includes some rare desktop speakers from Bowers and Wilkins.

"So I came for the aesthetics, but I was blow away by the sound. I’ve been glued in front of these speakers for hours now, just listening to all the tracks I thought I knew so well. Uncovering new facets and depth in the music... That to me is HiFi." world.hey.com/dhh/what-is-hi…

One more thing ...
The Macintosh was sort of like this wonderful romance in your life that you once had — and that produced about 10 million children. In a way it will never be over in your life. You'll still smell that romance every morning when you get up. And when you open the window, the cool air will hit your face, and you'll smell that romance in the air. And you'll see your children around, and you feel good about it. And nothing will ever make you feel bad about it.
