Oh boy, am I excited about a 27-inch iMac upgrade early next year.

The rumored refresh sounds like a dream machine: super-fast Apple Silicon, a glorious 120Hz screen and features like on-keyboard Touch ID, which debuted on the recently updated 24-inch iMac.

I've used a modern, flat-screen iMac at work for at least 15 years -- and owned several of the original chunky iMac G3s for home use.

So the iMac and I go back a ways.

It's always been a great machine, and the refresh sounds like it'll be even greater. Can't wait!
