No, Apple’s not late to AI game
But after years of effort, why is Siri still so bad?
With all the hype around ChatGPT and other generative AI efforts, Apple has been accused of being an AI laggard.
Where is Apple’s all-powerful AI, people are asking?
Well, it appears the company isn’t a laggard at all, and has quietly been working on conversational AI behind the scenes for at least four years. See the top post for details.
That’s laudable, of course, and shows Apple does, in fact, have its finger on the pulse of current tech trends.
However, it also begs the question: Why does Siri still suck so much?
