Do you need Rosetta on Apple silicon?
How much do you actually need the Intel emulator?
Yesterday, in a frenzy to sign up for Apple’s new high-yield savings account, I couldn’t figure out why the option to apply wasn’t appearing on my iPhone.
First I figured it was a phased rollout and I simply hadn’t been selected. Then I tried restarting my iPhone — the best universal troubleshooting step that fixes almost everything.
Unfortunately, that didn’t work. Stumped, I gave up.
Hours later, I wondered if I was running the latest version of iOS (auto-updating is turned on). Lo and behold, I wasn’t.
After upgrading to the latest release, there was the option to apply in the Wallet app, as expected.
So, the lesson is: If you’re also having trouble signing up for Apple Card Savings, check out our how-to that walks you through the process (including checking to make sure you’re running the latest version of iOS).

I saved the best for last, watchOS will have a redesigned homescreen layout/grid.
heavy details SOON. but it's going to be much easier to use, move, & act more familiar to iOS, including folders.📂
Unsure if it will be a third option or replace grid as default. http

Fun fact: Recent macOS wallpapers & screensavers were made in SceneKit. The Ventura wallpaper is just a still image of a SceneKit animation where a couple of petal meshes unfold. http

One more thing ...
You never achieve what you want without falling on your face a few times.
