Hands-on with soundcore's new high-end headphones.

I’m half-deaf, so my weird obsession with headphones makes no sense. And, in fact, it was probably listening to The Clash at excessive volumes that contributed to my loss of hearing.

But I’m a sucker for them. I have a collection of about a dozen headphones, not including AirPods and several other earbuds.

My favorites are AirPods Max, but I like the Beats Studio Pros and a pair of Bang & Olufsen H9s.

So I read with interest our hands-on review of Anker’s latest ANC cans, released under the firm’s soundcore brand, which is building a reputation for premium audio at budget prices. The company’s latest Space One Pro headphones are no exception.

Our reviewer, David Snow, says these new cans deliver exceptional sound and comfort at a very reasonable price (and just wait until they go on sale).

They offer a bunch of advanced features, including HearID, soundcore’s version of Apple’s Headphone Accommodations, which calibrates sound to your personal hearing capabilities. This sounds perfect for someone like me with mild-to-moderate hearing loss.

Over all, the Space One Pros sound like great cans that will give high-end headphones from Apple, Beats, Sony and Bose a run for their money. See our hands-on review.
