Mac mini gets micro

Apple's smallest Mac gets smaller

Apple’s screaming M4 chip is coming to the Mac mini — or is it the Mac micro, or the Mac nano?

Apple is prepping a new version of the Mac mini that is even smaller than the current version, according to a new report.

I’m all for small and thin, but I’m puzzled why Apple wants to make the mini even smaller.

Sure, thinner, lighter iPhones and iPads make perfect sense — but who’s asking for an even tinier desktop?

It makes sense for a headless Mac you can tuck behind the TV, say, or under a monitor.

But If Apple can shrink the machine so small, why not build it into a keyboard?
