Apple’s new Pride Luminance wallpaper looks dazzling on your iPhone or iPad. You can go with preset configurations, sure, but you can also use whatever color combos you like.

Picking two different shades of green, for instance, gives your phone a vivid, verdant look. Or you could go with a red, white and blue color scheme to get yourself pumped for the United States’ upcoming semiquincentennial.

You can pick up to 12 colors — let your imagination run wild!

Whatever colors you decide on, the shaded bands run from the top to the bottom of the iPhone’s Lock Screen and shimmer when you slide to unlock the device. The effect looks stunning. (You can download a matching Apple Watch face, too.)

As Cult of Mac writer D. Griffin Jones says in his how-to, “This is easily the best Pride wallpaper Apple has produced yet — in fact, it’s a great wallpaper, period.”

Find out how to add Luminance to your devices, and how to tweak the colors to your heart’s desire, in his handy guide.

One more thing ...

The Apple II was running out of gas, and we needed to do something with this technology fast or else Apple might cease to exist as the company that it was. And so I formed a small team to do the Macintosh, and we were on a mission from God to save Apple. No one else thought so, but it turned out we were right.
