iPhone battery life about to get even better

Apple just keeps identifying little ways to squeeze more life out of the iPhone's battery -- and thank heavens for that.

With an iPhone 13 Pro in my pocket, I don't experience that awful dread of running out of juice nearly as often as I used to. But things can always get better.

The latest rumor indicates a new 5G chip will give the iPhone 14 battery a boost.

And there's an additional perk: Since the new 5G chips will be produced using an advanced manufacturing process, they will be even smaller than the ones in iPhone 13. And that will free up some space inside iPhone 14 ... which could mean a bigger battery!
