The iPhone's evolution into one of the best digital photography devices on the market continues apace.
Corroborating earlier rumors, the next iPhone Pro is tipped to get a massive 48-megapixel camera.
Based on a new sensor, the 48-megapixel camera will sit alongside Ultra Wide and Telephoto lenses, which also will get upgrades.
Based on what the iPhone 13 Pro is capable of now, these upgrades will likely make a truly great camera into an insanely great camera.

Camera updates could again be a big reason to upgrade to the newest iPhone lineup next year, with Apple expected to pack 48-megapixel sensors — by far its biggest to date — into iPhone 14 Pro. The sensors would enable 8K video recording on iPhone for the first time, as well as provide greater augmented reality experiences.
