iOS update stops iPhone battery drain

Today's surprise iOS and iPadOS updates squash a bug that's been bedeviling some iPhone and iPad owners. That mysterious battery drain should be a thing of the past once you get the latest software.

Also today, Apple released a new version of macOS that should take care of problems some Mac owners have been encountering with third-party monitors and peripherals. (watchOS and tvOS also got minor bug-fix updates.)
