A smart device in the kitchen is almost a must-have these days.
At least for my family it is.
Few devices in our house get as much use as our kitchen HomePods (set up in a stereo pair). We use them all day, every day, setting timers for cooking, checking the weather, answering queries, listening to the radio from London, and playing a lot of music.
I bought my mom an Echo Show, which has a screen that follows you around when you’re talking to it. She loves it, and the screen is great for checking her doorbell camera. Imagine if Apple had such a device that could do a variety of smart-home tasks, and also make FaceTime calls.
So I’m delighted Apple is considering adding a screen to the HomePod. It can’t come soon enough.

One more thing ...
If they are working in an environment where excellence is expected, then they will do excellent work without anything but self-motivation. I'm talking about an environment in which excellence is noticed and respected and is in the culture. If you have that, you don't have to tell people to do excellent work. They understand it from their surroundings.
