Years ago, hoping to get the biggest-screen experience possible, I hooked up a giant, flat-screen TV to my Mac.

It was horrible.

Although the screen was enormous, it didn’t have the resolution to display Mac OS X properly. Everything was fuzzy and unfocused.

It hurt my eyes to look at it.

But these days, modern TVs offer much-higher resolution. And, as today’s featured setup shows, they are better-suited to acting as monitors. Resolution is still an issue, but If you want a giant screen, get a TV.
