It's Glowtime: Full coverage
Get all the details on new iPhones, Apple Watches, AirPods and more.
Apple just rolled out a line of amazing new cameras — with phones attached.
During Monday’s “It’s Glowtime” event, the company showed off the iPhone 16 lineup, which is distinguished by stunning new cameras and a new Camera Control. The solid-state button controls a host of camera functions, from capturing and focusing shots to zooming, switching between lenses and more.
The new Camera Control emphasizes how important photography has become to smartphones. But it’s not just for photography: The iPhone’s camera now acts as an intelligent eye. The device can display information about the world around you, simply by pointing the camera at it.
A new set of features called Visual Intelligence — invoked by the new Camera Control — shows information about the real world, like surfacing reviews of a restaurant you are looking at or creating a new calendar event from information on a poster.
This is just a snippet of the avalanche of new products and features unveiled during the one-hour, 39-minute telecast. Other highlights include:
In addition to the Camera Control, the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus models get some bold new color options and beefier chips for Apple Intelligence.
The new Apple Watch Series 10 looks very hot, with a big bold screen, a slimmed-down body and a new titanium finish.
AirPods Pro can now act as professional hearing aids.
Apple Watch Ultra 2 and AirPods Max didn’t bring much in the way of new hardware, but did get color refreshes. There’s also a new Apple Watch Ultra Hermès.

The Apple Watch Series 10 screen is larger than the one on the Apple Watch Ultra. Immediate move from the Ultra for me and probably others.

One more thing ...
Today, we're introducing three revolutionary products of this class. The first one is a widescreen iPod with touch controls. The second is a revolutionary mobile phone. And the third is a breakthrough internet communications device. So, three things; a widescreen iPod with touch controls, a revolutionary mobile phone and a breakthrough internet communications device. An iPod, a phone and an internet communications device … are you getting it? These are not three separate devices. This is one device – and we are calling it iPhone.
