How to enable Voice Isolation on iPhone

The new feature is surprisingly tricky to turn on.

For some odd reason, it took Apple ages to add Voice Isolation to iPhone phone calls. It’s been available in FaceTime and Zoom calls for more than a year.

Voice Isolation does what it says on the tin: It isolates your voice from background noises. It’s great for talking in noisy environments and works very well.

But Apple mysteriously hid the controls for turning the feature on and off. They can’t be found in the Phone app. Let us show you how to activate it.
