‘Double agent’ sells iPhone secrets, then squawks to Apple

Wow, there's a lot to learn about the thriving trade in Apple secrets after a so-called 'double agent' talked to a reporter.

The 'double agent' traded in Apple secrets and prototypes, selling info to the press and bloggers, while ingratiating himself to the clandestine community that traded in this info.

But at the same time, he was also selling them out, by naming names to Apple.

It's a pretty wild tale.

Andrey Shumeyko was part of the market for iPhone prototypes and insider secrets. He was also giving Apple the names of other people who shared this type of information. His hope was the company would pay him for the info.
