Delayed!
iOS 18 features that WON'T arrive this fall.
Come the fall, Apple will launch new versions of its operating systems to us users — iOS 18, iPadOS 18 and macOS Sequoia.
But a surprising number of new features that Apple heralded at WWDC24 won’t be available at launch.
There’s a raft of nifty stuff that won’t arrive until late 2024 — or even early 2025.
Here’s what we’ll likely be missing.
Also in today’s newsletter:
While Apple is delaying some stuff, it added a couple new power features to the Files app for iPhone and iPad.
The age of robots is beginning — starting with Apple’s supply chain: The company is working to halve the number of human assembly workers.
Today’s the day in Apple history that one of the best and most influential iPhones launched.
These inexpensive workout earbuds — which resemble Powerbeats Pro — get surprisingly good reviews. We have them on sale for just $40.
And if you’re looking for a new laptop, check out this sale on new and refurbished MacBook Pros. Prices start as low as $220.

One more thing ...
I've read something that Bill Gates said about six months ago. He said, 'I worked really, really hard in my 20s.' And I know what he means, because I worked really, really hard in my 20s, too. Literally, you know, seven days a week, a lot of hours every day. And it actually is a wonderful thing to do, because you can get a lot done. But you can't do it forever, and you don't want to do it forever, and you have to come up with ways of figuring out what the most important things are and working with other people even more.
