Cyber Monday cyberdeals
Save on stuff that makes for good Xmas gifts.
Cyber Monday is typically when online merchants discount their wares, especially electronics.
We’re tracking a bunch of deals, especially stuff Cult of Mac writers and editors personally use and like.
For example, I love my AirPods Pro 2, and they’re a crazy deal for just $154. And Cult of Mac writer David Snow swears by his Beats Studio Pro headphones, on sale for just $160.
There are also deals on other Beats and Bose headphones, Apple Watches, AirTags, Macs and a ton more items that make for great gifts this Xmas — even anti-snoring sleep earbuds that might just save your marriage.
Also in today’s newsletter:
Apple decked out the iconic Battersea Power Station — home to the company’s HQ in London — with a fun, Christmas-themed Wallace & Gromit animation that was shot on an iPhone. (I can’t tell you how excited I am about the new Wallace & Gromit movie coming to Netflix in the new year.)
About time! The Home app is getting support for robovacs. I love robot vacuums, even though they require constant care and attention.
Want some insight into the health of your iPhone’s battery? If you own an iPhone 15 or 16, you can easily check the battery cycle count.
It’s hard to appreciate now in the age of TikTok and YouTube, but their was a time when computer video was brand-new. Unsurprisingly, Apple led the way!

Thank you to the brilliant Aardman for creating this amazing Wallace & Gromit animation on London’s Battersea Power Station! The stop-motion animation was #ShotOniPhone and will surely get people into the holiday spirit.

One more thing ...
(On Microsoft) They are shamelessly trying to copy us. I think the most telling thing is that Tiger will ship at the end of the month and Longhorn is still 2 years out. They can't even copy fast.
