Cupertino, there's a problem with MacBook’s MagSafe

Of all the innovations Apple has come up with over the years, MagSafe is right up there.

The magnetic charging connector -- which disengages when yanked -- was truly a delightful feature when it debuted in 2006 with the first Intel MacBook Pro.

It went away for a few years, but made a triumphant return in the latest M1 MacBook Pros. Users rejoiced -- it's a firm fan favorite. The Verge even went so far as to say it "might be the most important feature" of the new laptops.

But somehow, Apple's managed to muck it up! There's a serious problem with the new MagSafe, and you'll never guess what it is!

Apple brought back the MagSafe charger for its newest MacBook Pro models — much to the delight of long-time fans who have appreciated the proprietary charging port in the past. And although it might be faster now, Cupertino spoiled one of the biggest things that made MagSafe charging so great.

The Apple CEO sees crypto as a “reasonable” way to diversify his portfolio. He also says Cupertino is “looking at” ways cryptocurrency could one day work with Apple Pay, or be used to buy Apple products.

Apple is reportedly walking back a policy that might have put many small phone repair shops out of business.

In iOS 15.2, the Messages app will be able to detect if an iPhone or iPad user gets or sends a text with sexually explicit photos. The goal is to protect children from sexual predators.
