What to check out in iOS 17.3
Plus, Chrome's Incognito Mode is not incognito.
The latest version of iOS has just been released, bringing some welcome new features, including Stolen Device Protection, which adds extra layers of security in case your iPhone gets pinched. Here’s what to check out in iOS 17.3 after you install it.
There’s a bunch more news today:
Google finally admits that Chrome’s Incognito mode is baloney. Google has been tracking you and your naughty browsing habits all along! Isn’t that great?
Looks like Apple sold a lot more Vision Pro headsets than originally predicted. If the numbers are right, it might have been a half-billion-dollar-weekend for the company.
There’s a big-screen iPad Air coming soon. This is what it might look like.
There’s also a beefed-up MacBook Air in the wings with a speedy M3 chip.
Looking to easily add CarPlay to your jalopy? This portable screen is on sale for less than $100.
Here’s why our managing editor has become a “nudist.”
The trailer for upcoming Apple TV+ show Constellation makes it look very intriguing.
Don’t miss the tweets below for a jaw-dropping demo of a Vision Pro app and a great new search feature coming to Pixel phones that Apple should steal.

Here's a demo of the new Circle to Search gesture on a @madebygoogle Pixel 8 Pro! This gesture lets you tap, scribble, or draw a circle around text or images on screen to search it on Google.
This feature will roll out to the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro starting January 31.

One more thing ...
The Beatles all want to be on iTunes but they and EMI are like an old married couple. They hate each other but can’t get divorced. The fact that my favorite band was the last holdout from iTunes was something I very much hoped I would live to resolve.
Today’s poll
