Apple just sent out invites for this fall’s big iPhone launch event, and the image is packed with massive clues!

Warning: Spoilers ahead!!!!

The event will most likely see the debut of Apple’s first folding iPhone, as well as a pair of iPhone 18 Pro handsets and new Apple Watch models.

The invite, though, is NOT all about the folding iPhone.

First up — the color of the invite! (This is all a joke, btw).

It’s light blue, one of the rumored colors of the iPhone 18 Pros. So check that off as basically confirmed!

Then there’s the Apple logo, which looks like a blazing sun. This has got to be a reference to the vapor chamber, the new chip-cooling system Apple increasingly uses to keep its devices cool.

So again, confirmed!

And then there's the folding iPhone. If you squint hard enough, you can see a crease in the Apple logo. 😂

Plus, that logo gives off Liquid Glass vibes, which is clearly a reference to iOS 27.

The invite confirms the folding iPhone will run iOS, not some hybrid of iOS and iPadOS, as some have postulated. Again — iOS is a lock!

The event might actually include a few surprises, though — not least, a new presenter!

  • The new Mac Studios look like incredible computers, but the lineup of M5 chips that power them is more complicated than usual, and tbh, a bit confusing. But not if you read our post on the key differences.

  • In the past 24 hours, I’ve seen a million posts about ditching your AI subscription and buying a maxed-out Mac Studio instead. But these hot takes are silly: The math just doesn’t work out.

  • 🔥 DEAL OF THE DAY: Here’s a pretty discount (22%) on a mini but still mighty Anker charging brick/battery pack that’s pocketable but puts out 65W. #affiliate

  • The addition of ads in Apple Maps is sparking a user revolt. I’m more concerned about the continued usage of Yelp, tbh.
