Apple had a great year in 2025 — hardware-wise, at least.
Yeah, the company muffed Apple Intelligence. Smarter Siri is still an ongoing production. Lots of people complained about the new Liquid Glass user interface — a vocal minority, anyway. And there were some high-profile executive departures, but nothing to make you panic and offload all your APPL stock.
On the hardware front, though, Apple was firing on all cylinders in 2025. Cupertino delivered, in my opinion at least, one of the best lineups of Macs, iPhones and iPads in its long and storied history.
However, I will concede that not every single product Apple pushed out this past year was a winner.
Here’s our list of the best and worst Apple products of 2025.

Today’s the day in Apple history that the company shipped the largest LCD display to date: a comically small 22-inch screen that now looks horribly dated.
Compare that to this 40-inch ultrawide monster that we like very much. See our hands-on review. The price difference between the two monitors vividly illustrates how screen tech has become much more affordable over the years.

One more thing ...
I saw a video tape that we weren’t supposed to see. It was prepared for the Joint Chiefs of Staff. By watching the tape, we discovered that, at least as of a few years ago, every tactical nuclear weapon in Europe manned by U.S. personnel was targeted by an Apple II computer. Now, we didn’t sell computers to the military; they went out and bought them at a dealers, I guess. But it didn’t make us feel good to know that our computers were being used to target nuclear weapons in Europe. The only bright side of it was that at least they weren’t [Tandy/RadioShack] TRS-80s! Thank God for that.
