Apple Watch: Which one to buy?

Our guide pits the new Series 10 against Apple Watch Ultra 2.

I have the original Apple Watch Ultra, and I absolutely love it. But I gotta admit, I’m lusting after the Ultra 2 with its gorgeous new satin black titanium finish.

However, the new Apple Watch Series 10 is throwing me for a loop! It’s bigger, and thinner, and a whole lot less expensive.

I barely use the Ultra’s most advanced features — and would probably be quite happy with the Series 10.

But what about battery life? That’s one of my favorite features of the Ultra — I barely need to think about charging it. The Ultra’s battery lasts almost twice as long as the Series 10.

Although I say so myself, I think we did a great job putting this together.

It definitely helped me make my decision. I stumped for the Ultra 2, on the “never-never” (British slang for installment payments — I used my Apple Card, which splits the payment over 12 months with 0% interest).

I’m going to face a similarly difficult decision regarding the new iPhone 16. I usually buy a Pro model, but the regular iPhone 16 looks great, and I’m wondering if it will meet my needs. Look for our iPhone 16 buying guide tomorrow.
