Apple Watch for kids?

Next SE model sounds tailor-made for little ones.

My kids are all young adults now, but when they were younger, one of them was an escape artist.

It seemed like every single time we went out in public, he’d disappear: Costco. The mall. Disneyland. The Palace of Versailles. New York City!

It was stressful, frankly. I wish we’d had an Apple Watch we could have strapped to him.

Apple’s smartwatch seems like a great device for kids too young for a cellphone. There are no screen-time issues, and they can be tracked and contacted just about anywhere (especially if you opt for a cellular model).

Apple, of course, is keenly aware there’s a market for a kid-friendly device — and the next Apple Watch SE sounds tailor-made for kids.

One more thing ...

I'm a big believer in boredom. Boredom allows one to indulge in curiosity and out of curiosity comes everything. All the [technology] stuff is wonderful, but having nothing to do can be wonderful, too.
