Apple March event: What to expect
Time to start getting exciting about all the incoming gear.
After the excitement of the Vision Pro launch last month, no one seems to be particularly jazzed about Apple’s upcoming March event.
The widely rumored showcase — which is yet to be officially announced — probably won’t feature brand-new product categories. Instead, it’ll likely be devoted to updates to the MacBook and iPad lines, with no big surprises on tap.
Nonetheless, the updates are more exciting than most, especially what’s reportedly coming to the iPad.
We’re likely to see a couple of brand-new iPads that sound very, very cool — especially the new iPad Air. Here are details of what to expect.

The difference between iOS in Europe and elsewhere is widening, but Apple is now backtracking on its plan to kill off web apps in the EU.
Apple reportedly nixed plans to build the next Apple Watch with a micro-LED screen. The company seems to be cooling on the screen tech entirely.
Apple TV+ is getting a raft of cool movies in March, but many are disappearing at the end of the month. I’m definitely going to check out a few of these titles in 3D on Vision Pro.
I’m a big fan of the latest Beats headphones, which sound great, have forever battery life and fold down into a compact package. Here’s how to get up to $150 off the latest Beats headphones and earbuds.
I think I need the Satechi USB-C hub featured in today’s setup, which looks more like a slick ad than a real user’s desk.

New Vision Pro headstrap I'm calling The Triple. It actually gets most of the weight off my face and is the most cursed, almost-all Apple setup.

Hilarious to me that I can run Premiere, Lightroom, Spotify, Slack, and Todoist all at the same time on my MacBook and it doesn't miss a beat. But one particularly heavy Chrome tab and the whole thing slows to a crawl.
