Apple Maps hides Tim Cook’s house
Last year, singer Billie Eilish was threatened by a stalker. She got a temporary restraining order against the obsessed fan, and shortly afterward Google Maps blurred out her Los Angeles home in Street View citing "privacy concerns."
After news broke yesterday that Tim Cook also has a restraining order against an alleged stalker, we checked Apple Maps and Google Maps, only to see that his Palo Alto house has been blurred out in both.
It's not clear if the move came in response to the temporary restraining order granted to Apple's CEO, or if it predated it.
Nonetheless, it's easy to have your own residence blurred out on mapping services -- see our how-to if you're so inclined.

Apple fans who take a virtual stroll through Palo Alto inside Apple Maps and Google Maps no longer get to see Tim Cook’s house. The modern, four-bedroom condo has had a giant digital wall erected right in front of it.
The woman, who claimed to be the Apple CEO's wife, allegedly threatened him and trespassed at his home in Palo Alto, California.
Anyone can quite easily get their own home hidden from online maps. All you need to do is ask Apple and Google to conceal the locations.
