Apple Intelligence is here

New beta gives first access to AI features.

Apple just started rolling out Apple Intelligence, the company’s wildly ambitious effort to overhaul its devices with AI.

The new iOS 18.1 developer beta — which went live late Monday morning — includes a limited set of Apple Intelligence features.

Among them are a new glowing, full-screen Siri interface, smart summaries and replies in email and messages, typing commands to Siri, and a new reduced interruptions mode.

However, a bunch of the splashiest new Apple Intelligence features shown at WWDC24 remain AWOL.

We have full details on the first Apple Intelligence release right here.
