Turn sketches into 'art'
Master Apple's new AI image tool in the Notes app.
A new AI image-making tool that you might have missed is built right into your iPhone’s increasingly capable Notes app.
Called Image Wand, the new tool will transform your rough, hand-drawn sketches into generative AI artwork.
Scribble a picture of your dog, and Image Wand will conjure up an AI image of your sketch. Image Wand also works with text prompts (just like Image Playground, which the new tool is based upon).
The results are, well, absolutely horrible!
But Image Wand is fun to play around with, and perhaps you can find a good everyday use for it.

To avoid President Donald Trump’s tariffs, Apple is shifting production of iPhones destined to be sold in the United States to Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Arizona, Alaska … oh, wait, no: India! Yeah, I’m confused, too. I don’t think this is what Trump had planned.
Here at Cult of Mac HQ, everyone is buzzing about the upcoming changes in iOS 19, which might transform your iPhone into something like a Mac when plugged into an external monitor.
If you have an old Apple Watch lying around, here are some ideas for what do with it.

One more thing ...
I think back to Detroit in the ’70s, when cars were so bad. Why? The people running the companies then didn't love cars. One of the things wrong with the PC industry today is that most of the people running the companies don't love PCs. Does Steve Ballmer love PCs? Does Craig Barrett love PCs? Does Michael Dell love PCs? If Michael Dell wasn't selling PCs he'd be selling something else. These people don't love what they create. And people here do.
