Brought to you by Incogni, the easiest way to scrub your data from the internet.

I recently discovered that we’ve been paying Google a small fortune for group email — hundreds of dollars every month.

Ignore the “recently discovered” part (yeah, I should be poring over the Cultomedia accounts more regularly, a despised chore I actively avoid). Instead, focus on the “small fortune.”

Like almost every other business email provider I’ve looked at, Google charges a very attractive introductory rate — which balloons precipitously after the initial period ends.

Google and its ilk get away with this because of the high switching costs. It’s a headache to transfer everything (there’s another despised chore I’m actively avoiding!), although certain tools make it easier.

So I’m really interested in the new Apple Business initiative. It’s a new suite of tools from Apple, including business email, that makes deploying and managing Apple devices easier for businesses of all sizes.

It looks very competitive — a serious, concerted effort to finally make Apple much more business-friendly.

Apple Business has the potential be a pretty big deal in the business world, making Apple devices a more viable platform for business use. The pricing looks good, and I’m 100% confident the interface will be a huge improvement over Google’s, which is — in a word — a nightmare.

  • With the price of memory soaring thanks to the AI boom, now is probably the best time to stock up on storage before prices get really bad.

  • Scammers can file taxes in your name — and collect your refund. It’s just one of several tricky tax scams, which have been exploding in recent years. • There are new iOS and macOS updates waiting for you in your Settings app. Both look pretty good. macOS 26.4 brings better battery-health management, and I’m looking forward to the new Apple Music features in iOS 26.4.

  • 🔥 DEAL OF THE DAY: I might buy this myself. Heck, I just did! This cute AirTag carabiner from Belkin is on sale. It’s perfect for your keys, or hanging off luggage, a backpack and scores of other things. Just $15 (25% off).

  • The disastrous launch of Apple Maps cost Scott Forstall his job back in 2012. But since then, it’s grown into arguably the best mapping service. That might change this summer, though, with a move everyone was expecting but few are looking forward to.

  • Talking of businesses, you could probably run one entirely off this new 17-in-1 Thunderbolt dock.

  • Apple’s new corporate enterprise focus is a big shift for the company — see today’s Steve Jobs quote below.

One more thing ...

It's OK if we don't, you know, aggressively sell to corporate enterprise customers. That's not why Apple was put on this earth. It'd be fun. But we're not going to go make a frontal assault on the enterprise. We're going to go and sell the creative professionals who we love selling to and they love us.

— Steve Jobs, 1999.
