Why Apple is extending its return policy for the holidays

Supply chain shortages are finally starting to bite Apple after a long period when the company seemed immune.

Thanks to chip shortages, Apple is reportedly siphoning components from iPad to iPhone. And the company has announced a relaxed return policy for the upcoming holidays.

Cupertino is hoping that shoppers will make gift purchases earlier than normal and not be stymied by Apple's usual 14-day return policy.

Perhaps it's time to pick up some AirPods Pro -- and right now Amazon's got a killer deal!

Apple’s extended holiday return policy is now in effect for all purchases made through the Apple Store online. Goods received between November 1 and December 25 can be returned through January 8, 2022. There are some exceptions shoppers should be aware of, however.
