AirPods Pro 2: Better in every way
The AirPods Pro are among the best products Apple ever made.
Yeah, I said it: They are truly a great, great product, up there with the Mac, iPhone, iPad and the other greats.
And now they've been improved in just about every way. Everything they do is better, according to early reviewers.
I can't wait to get a pair tomorrow.

P.S. If you are also shopping for a new pair of AirPods, consider trading in your old pair with Cult of Mac's buyback program. We pay cash, and have great customer service. It couldn't be easier.
The first reviews of Apple’s new wireless earbuds with active noise cancellation are rolling in. The overwhelming consensus? The design is only slightly changed from the first-generation AirPods Pro, but almost everything else is improved, with a few minor caveats. They’re better than the original where it counts most: Higher sound quality, stronger ANC, more controls, longer battery life and an improved wireless charging case.
With the release of the new AirPods Pro 2 — which are getting rave reviews — why not trade in your old AirPods for real cash? Cult of Mac offers good money for old earbuds and other used gear, making your next upgrade more affordable. We won’t leave you waiting weeks for your check, and we promise that none of the products we receive will end up in a landfill.
J.P. Morgan analysts think Apple will move 25% of iPhone production to India by 2025. The Cupertino giant already moved some iPhone, iPad and MacBook production outside China in recent years in an effort to reduce its reliance on the country's workforce.
Vinyl is alive and well, and the Victrola Stream Carbon is a high-end turntable designed for homes with Sonos speakers. The record player wirelessly connects, and is controllable through the Sonos app. Carbon is the first in multiple new products coming in the Stream turntable line.
Shooting or animating videos is easier than ever, and adding polished voiceovers can help bring your YouTube videos and marketing materials to life.
iOS 16 brings a lot of exciting changes, but no one seems to like the new Search button on the Home Screen. It can clutter your aesthetic theme, it’s easy to press accidentally, and it’s not any faster than using the swipe-down gesture for search. Luckily, it’s possible to turn it off.
Its sweeping design stands out from the crowd. Place your handset on the elevated charging disk, and it is ready for video calls while the battery is being replenished. And a separate charging mat powers up an AirPods charging case.
On September 22, 2014, Apple notched a new sales record, with the phablet-size iPhone 6 Plus generating enormous interest.
Is it worth buying a full-size camera these days? The reasons to do so grow smaller and smaller as smartphone cameras get better and better. What if, instead of buying a different camera, you could add lenses and accessories for your iPhone that fill in the missing gaps? You could get the same versatility with the same convenience.

After tons of pixel peeping, I say the iPhone 14 Pro is a big step up that serious photographers will appreciate. I love the 48-megapixel sensor for detail & cropping. Image quality like dynamic range is noticeably better. My assessment (and a thread). 1/ cnet.com/tech/mobile/wh…

One more thing ...
"The hard part of what we’re up against now is that people ask you about specifics and you can’t tell them. A hundred years ago, if somebody had asked Alexander Graham Bell, 'What are you going to be able to do with a telephone?' he wouldn’t have been able to tell him the ways the telephone would affect the world. He didn’t know that people would use the telephone to call up and find out what movies were playing that night or to order some groceries or call a relative on the other side of the globe." — Steve Jobs, 1985
