AirPods 3 are the best earbuds available right now [Review]

I couldn't agree more with our review of Apple's AirPods 3 -- they are indeed the best overall earbuds on the market right now.

They sound great, are easy to use, have a bunch of useful features, and they've barely left my external acoustic meatus since I got a pair.

In many situations, I actually prefer them over the AirPods Pro or even the AirPods Max. Not because of sound quality (which is roughly comparable to the Pros) but because they don't have active noise cancellation.

Oftentimes, I want to be aware of ambient sound, and the AirPods 3 are great for that.

Let's hope Apple doesn't run out in the run-up to the holidays!

AirPods are arguably one of Apple’s most popular products. Over the last five years, the wireless earbuds have become so common that it’s hard to go anywhere without seeing someone wearing them. And now, with the third-generation AirPods, Apple has improved them in almost every way.

We see a lot of dual- and multi-display workstations here at Setups Central, but we can’t recall seeing a “dual-display laptop” or a “laptop monitor stack.” Those are terms we made up for a second portable display mounted under a laptop’s screen and on top of its keyboard, as in today’s featured setup.

One more thing ...

"I think the same philosophy that drives the product has to drive everything else if you want to have a great company. Manufacturing ... demands just as much thought and strategy as the product. If you don't pay attention to your manufacturing, it will limit the kind of product you can build and engineer. Some companies view manufacturing as a necessary evil, and some view it as something more neutral. But we view it instead as a tremendous opportunity to gain a competitive advantage. [I've thought that] ever since I visited Japan in the early '80s. And let me add that the same is true of sales and marketing. You need a sales and marketing organization that is oriented toward educating customers rather than just taking orders, providing a real service rather than moving boxes. This is extremely important." -- Steve Jobs
