To paraphrase The Godfather: Part III, just when you thought Apple was out of pro apps, it pulls you back in.
Cupertino is bundling six pro-level video- and audio-editing apps into the Apple Creator Studio subscription.
Most of the discussion on socials centers on the apps’ new icons, but what struck me are the genuinely useful and smart new AI features. Some of them look very clever. It’s not just slop for slop’s sake.
Apple is also charging less than a single subscription to Adobe Photoshop. The student price is shockingly low. And you can still buy the apps individually — subscription pricing is not the only option.
It's not strictly an apples-to-apples comparison — Adobe offers a broader range of apps and subscription prices — but altogether, the new Apple Creator Studio looks like a very compelling alternative to Adobe Creative Cloud, and is beyond competitively priced.

First it was iPhone shipments that were way up; now Macs are, too. Apple’s firing on all cylinders.
What kind of advanced AI gadget is Jony Ive cooking up with Sam Altman? The latest rumors point to several devices, the most important one being some kind of AI egg called “Sweetpea” that’ll take on AirPods???????
Not one but two of my kids are now Duolingo users. One’s brushing up on his Spanish; the other’s learning French. Both swear by the app’s gamified learning model. Here’s a chance to snag a deal.

Better prompts. Better AI output.
AI gets smarter when your input is complete. Wispr Flow helps you think out loud and capture full context by voice, then turns that speech into a clean, structured prompt you can paste into ChatGPT, Claude, or any assistant. No more chopping up thoughts into typed paragraphs. Preserve constraints, examples, edge cases, and tone by speaking them once. The result is faster iteration, more precise outputs, and less time re-prompting. Try Wispr Flow for AI or see a 30-second demo.

One more thing ...
Clearly, iPhone plus iPod touch have created a new class of gaming…. It's a subset of casual gaming, but it's surprising how good some of the games are. And some of them are even approaching console gaming in their sophistication and graphics.
Today’s poll
Does the Apple Creator Studio bundle seriously threaten Adobe?
Results from yesterday’s poll: If the rumors pan out, would you buy an iPhone 17e?
