It’s hard to believe, but the iPhone and iOS are 17 years old, and with that comes ever more complexity.

It can be mind-boggling to dive into the Settings app and go down the rabbit hole of features for Hearing Devices, for example. I just discovered that a triple tap of the iPhone’s Side Button brings up options for my hearing aids on the list of Accessibility Shortcuts — I had zero knowledge of this easy way to access these settings.

iOS contains dozens of similar accessibility features, settings and controls to help make your life better. And if you just upgraded to iOS 18, there are even more features to discover.
