The 2022 MacBook Air looks awesome

The new MacBook Pros are mad powerful, but not everyone needs the raw speed of an M1 Max chip.

For lots of people, a MacBook Air is perfectly adequate. In fact, with an M1 chip of its own, the Air is no slouch.

And just look at the new design reportedly coming next year, as imagined by unofficial renders based on leaks.

The rumored machine is wafer-thin -- making it truly worthy of its "Air" moniker -- but is packed with worthy upgrades, like a new mini-LED display and MagSafe. Plus, it'll come in multiple colors.

It sounds absolutely great, and we can't wait to see it.

We could be waiting until the middle of 2022 for the next MacBook Air refresh, but according to the latest rumor, it will be well worth the wait.
