☠️ Will Apple kill the Lightning port? ☠️

The Euros really seem to have it in for the Lightning port.
The European Commission just proposed legislation that would make USB-C the law of the land – and that could mean the end of Lightning.
The real question is, would Apple actually kill Lightning, or pull some kind of workaround for European markets?
Also in today’s news:
  • Foundation arrives early on Apple TV+. But why is all of the streaming service’s sci-fi so dark?
  • Folks with older devices should definitely update to iOS 12.5.5 to put a stop to Pegasus.

amazing how, when promoting new #iPadMini with USBC, #apple has to essentially lay out why #USBC is a superior connector….but then proceed to keep #lightning on their iPhone’s and somehow try justifying that…like….??? 😂 just upgrade the iPhone port apple! 😑 https://t.co/TlTPFz2W9h
