Apple sends invites to Oct. 18 ‘Unleashed’ event

Cult of Mac Today
It’s official: There is another Apple event this fall, and it’s going to be held next Monday at 10 a.m. PDT.
The likely star of the show? New MacBook Pro models.
The event’s name is “Unleashed,” and the invite features a hyperspace motif, as if something is going into warp drive (perhaps it’s the new Pros’ sure-to-be-super-fast Apple Silicon?)
The only odd thing is that the event falls on a Monday. Apple usually holds these media events on a Tuesday. But Google already booked Tuesday for its fall Pixel phones unveiling, so best guess is Apple is getting out front of its rival.
Who’s excited?

iOS 15’s “Record App Activity” is coming in a future update, but you can import your data into this 3rd party app and it gives you crazy insight into what data your apps collect, when it accesses data, and even what networks your apps connects to.

“I can tell you this: I’ve been married for eight years, and that’s had a really good influence on me. I’ve been very lucky – through random happenstance I just happened to sit next to this wonderful woman who became my wife. And it was a big deal. We have three kids, and it’s been a big deal. You see the world differently.” – Steve Jobs
